One of the greatest challenges facing our society today is thetendency to live self-centered and selfish lives. But did you knowthat God created us to be givers?He created us to be vessels of His selfless and compassionate love.John 3:16 tells us that God showed His love to us by giving His Son,and we also show our love to others by our giving. You can experiencea new level of God's joy, blessing, and favor in your life when youstep out and begin giving of yourself to others in a greater capacity.Learn to walk in love and prefer others above yourself. IThessalonians 5:15 says, "See that no one pays back evil for evil, butalways aim to show kindness and seek to do good to everybody." Learnhow to better follow the leading of the Holy Spirit to meet the needsof those around you. When you do, you will experience thesupernatural joy of giving, and God will honor your efforts and pourout his abundant blessing on you.A Prayer for Today:God, You gave me the ultimate example of self-sacrificial giving.There are so many opportunities to show Your love to others. Everyday, I will seek out ways to show kindness and compassion. In Jesus'Name -- Amen.
